Stay tuned for more details coming in the next few weeks about activities associated with Moose Hide Day on May 16, 2024. For more details about how to register click the link below.
Started in 2011, the Moose Hide Campaign is a grassroots movement of Indigenous and non-Indigenous men and boys who are standing up against violence towards women and children. Wearing the moose hide pin signifies your commitment to honour, respect and protect the women and children in your life and speak out against gender-based and domestic violence.
At Ceann Damh Consulting, we believe that building strong and supportive communities is a key factor in reconciliation, that's why we've created a platform that links people to activities that promote belonging and connection to community, such as the Moose Hide Campaign.
Recognizing that reconciliation is a shared journey and responsibility of every Canadian, and as part of our ongoing exploration of Canada's colonial history, here is some information prepared by Stephanie Papik that encourages each of us to consider how we commemorate National Truth and Reconciliation Day, as well as reflect on the subject throughout the year.
